Roemer held discussions with the chief minister for almost an hour, official sources said.
Later, addressing a joint press conference, Roemer said Kumar had initiated a number of measures for infrastructure development including in the field of health, education, dairy development, e-governance and NREGA.
The US ambassador also praised the state government for achieving the growth rate of 11.03 per cent during the short span of four years, and wanted to know from Kumar as to how he had succeeded in making Bihar a 'happening state'.
