Inaugurating the Bihar Stall in 8th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas 2010 held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi he said that Bihar has vast opportunity and untapped market. He claimed that Bihar was poised for major development and growth in the next few years.
He said that the state government invites all the NRIs to visit Bihar and added that there is vast prospect in sugarcane, ethanol, leather, textile, health-care, tourism, infrastructure and food processing sector industry.
He said that the State Investment Promotion Board provides single window clearance of investment proposal. The minister added that that till November 30 last a total of 249 proposals worth just Rs 1.34 crore had been approved.
