A 19-year-old Bihari youth was today arrested for kidnapping the four year-old son of a building contractor, police here said.
Dharmendra was arrested when he came to collect a ransom of Rs five lakh which he demanded from the contractor Vashihar Pandit, also a native of Bihar, for setting free his son Akshay Kumar, whom he had abducted three days ago.
"Dharmendra had been making calls to Pandit for ransom for the last three days, changing the amount every time before he made the final call last night asking him to deliver Rs five lakh at the pedestrian underpass in the city railway station today", police said.
